Lorena Serraglio has been appointed as the new head of KLA’s Data Protection & Privacy, Intellectual Property, and KLAI — the firm’s hub for Artificial Intelligence, Technology, and Innovation.
Under her leadership, the team will continue to serve clients across a wide range of sectors, including technology, pharmaceuticals, logistics, infrastructure, advertising, as well as gaming and sports betting.
With more than 12 years of experience, Lorena Serraglio has been recognized by international legal rankings such as Legal500 (Cybersecurity and Data Protection).
She holds an MBA in Electronic Law (Escola Paulista de Direito), graduated from the Internet Governance School (Brazilian Internet Steering Committee), and completed specialized programs in Privacy and Data Protection (Data Privacy Brasil) and Privacy and Security (Institute for Technology and Society of Rio de Janeiro). She is also a researcher at the Center for AI and Digital Policy.
According to partner Melissa Kanô, who leads the Media and Entertainment practice, and KLA’s Executive Committee, Lorena Serraglio’s arrival will bring technical excellence to a multidisciplinary team and further strengthen the firm’s consistent, business-driven client service.
