Antonio Nachif has joined KLA as a partner to strengthen the firm’s Litigation and Dispute Resolution
practice. Alongside partners Tiago Cortez, Taísa Oliveira, and Flávia Alterio, Nachif will focus on judicial disputes and arbitrations, as well as creditor representation in corporate restructuring and insolvency matters.
The new partner brings extensive experience in disputes involving commercial contracts, civil liability, mergers and acquisitions (M&A), corporate matters, credit recovery, and insolvency, in addition to preventive strategic advisory work, including contractual claims management.
Throughout his 20-year career, Nachif has advised clients across a range of industries, with particular expertise in renewable energy and construction projects. His work has been recognized by legal directories and rankings such as Leaders League and Lexology (formerly Who’s Who Legal).
A PhD candidate in Civil Law and holder of a Master’s degree in Civil Procedure from University of São Paulo, the new partner also earned an LL.M. (Master of Laws) from King’s College London. While in London, he worked as a visiting attorney at WilmerHale, focusing on international arbitration. He is also a member of organizations such as the Comitê Brasileiro de Arbitragem (CBAr) and the M&A and Corporate Restructuring Committee of the Câmara de Mediação e Arbitragem Empresarial (CAMARB).
