PRACTICE AREAS
KLA pro bono practice area has been acting actively since its foundation in 2002. Currently, the firm provides pro bono services to several areas, such as: corporate law, disability rights, employment law, health issues, human rights, intellectual property, microfinance and small businesses, real estate law, diversity and inclusion, among others. The firm is also member of national and International institutions like Instituto Pro Bono Brasil, Thomson Reuters Foundation e INTA Pro Bono Committee.
KLA has been recognized and listed as a “Pro Bono Leading Light” by Latin Lawyer and Vance Center. Further, our pro bono practice was a finalist in the TrustLaw Awards, representing Brazil with F123, a social enterprise based in our country, which is developing a new speech synthesizer for the blind.
