KLA announces the arrival of Flávia Marcilio, Luanda Backheuser, José Davi Fidalgo, and Livia Siviero Huh as new partners of the firm. With extensive specialized knowledge in Real Estate, Environmental, Agribusiness, and Capital Markets Law, the partners will operate in specific practice areas and integrate KLA’s multidisciplinary Real Estate Business practice.
Flávia Marcilio brings extensive experience in Environmental, Public, and Real Estate Law. José Davi Fidalgo has been working for many years in the areas of Environmental and Real Estate Law. Luanda Backheuser emphasizes work for Agribusiness and Urban Real Estate Law, while Livia Siviero Huh contributes her expertise in Capital Markets and Real Estate Law to the firm.

Meet the new partners
Flávia Marcilio has been working for 30 years in the fields of Public, Environmental, and Real Estate Law, with a focus on Agribusiness, Forest Investments, Mining, and complex environmental issues related to Real Estate Business. She holds an MBA in Business Law from FGV and graduated from PUC Campinas.
José Davi Fidalgo, also focusing on Environmental and Real Estate Law, has experience in serving industries, financial institutions, and agribusiness in obtaining environmental licenses and interfacing with public agencies. He holds specializations in Real Estate Law and Environmental Compliance from Escola Nacional dos Registradores and CETESB, respectively, and graduated from Mackenzie.
Luanda Backheuser has extensive experience in the Real Estate and Agribusiness sectors, specializing in business structuring involving rural and urban properties, investment funds, and the analysis of land situations and regularization. She graduated from PUC-SP and holds specializations in Carbon Market and Third Sector Law from FGV.
Livia Siviero Huh, active in the Capital Markets, has been working since 2010 in Structured Operations and Real Estate Business. She has experience in debt and equity operations, securitization, investment funds, and asset advisory. She holds an LL.M. in Financial and Capital Markets Law from Insper and a certificate in Financial Markets from Yale University, in addition to a specialization in Environmental Law and Sustainability from PUC-SP.
