As provided by Minas Gerais´ Act No 22,440/2016 and Decree No 47,334, any relationship that constitutes a potential conflict of interest between health care professionals and companies in the drug, orthoses, prostheses, equipment and implants sectors, held in the previous year in the Minas Gerais´ State, must be reported.
The digital form that should be used to make the report is available at Minas Gerais State Health Secretariat website and must be submitted by February 28, 2018.
Failure to comply with the law subjects the offender to the penalties set forth in the Brazilian Consumer Defense Code (Federal Act No. 8,078/1990).
