In the article “O cerco se fecha contra crime de colarinho branco” published in Valor Econômico in December, Filipe Magliarelli, partner of KLA’s White Collar Crime & Corporate Investigation, discusses the judgment and arrest of Lava-Jato defendants.
According to Magliarelli, the fact of the Brazilian Justice assumes that white collar crimes are less harmful for society than ordinary crimes might help to create a cycle of encouragement and recidivism of acts.
